The last thing I ran chains on was a Cat 518 Line Skidder about 30 years ago. It was a two man job to get them on. I had one break and caught it before it wrapper around the axle, thank God!
It doesn't sound like the OP is a total newbie but this is a pretty good thread on the basics of what your truck can do....

Good info there, thanks! I've got a bunch of new lighting and some stuff I bought a while back that I haven't been home long enough to install and this'll come in handy.
I went with Rally Armor and love them. They stick out a bit but I wanted a little extra since I was putting on some Icon wheels with a little different offset

The wife bought these for all of our rigs, makes the cigarette lighter feature useful. I just pull mine out of the dash and grab the cable out of the tray for day hikes and ski days, especially if I'm skiing the trees. No drain on the vehicle battery when the truck is off. An inexpensive and...
The guys there are great! I've been an engineer on ships for 20+ years but I'm a total noob on this truck mod thing and they've been really helpful and patient with all of my questions. @OffroadAlliance.com is definitely my preferred vendor!!!

The salesman I worked with when I ordered my Raptor works the Nissan lot mostly but does work the Ford side of the dealership too. He said that in 2019 they had a competition at the dealership - whoever sold the most Raptors got to go to RA. Apparently its not JUST owners that get to go. I'd be...
I've been doing tons of research on light bars lately, Rigid and BD, pros/cons. I keep coming back to this thread and I'm sold! I told my wife to disregard any of the others I've added to my wishlist, this is the one! She said she'd talk to Santa for me and let him know that there's a rumor that...
HOLEEEE SH!T!!!! I haven't been on here much the last couple of months and just found this thread today. @Harvey Singh what a story, glad it worked out. The same experience would've killed me. Enjoy Raptoring your Raptor, happily forever Raptor!!!
My wife had planned to go with me even though she couldn't drive. Once they cancelled the reception dinner there was no reason for her to go and not much for her to do around Tooele anyway. I would've gladly paid $1000-1500 for a +1 if that were an option.
It really sounded like the instructors...
