I’m glad someone is experimenting with the axle back section. Removing the tips and bottle resonators creates too much rasp. I still want to hear it with bottle resonators removed, but packed tips retained.
Does anyone have any evidence of this happening with Eibach Leveling (1.1") springs? Or are all of these failures with Geisers/Eibach Lift (2.2") springs? I have yet to SEE an Eibach (non-progressive) spring cause this, but that's why I am asking.
Thanks. Addictive Desert Designs Stealth Fighter. You’ll see my truck all over their website from late 2021. I helped them prototype the Gen3 stuff. Well, my truck did at least. ;)
@Ryan C How are you adjusting the collars? Are you taking them completely off the truck? Just doing them on the ground with spring compressors still proves to be a PITA.
Does anyone know what the front preload would be to achieve the same lift as Eibach? I’m running Eibachs now and I’m pretty happy with how the truck sits. I want to be able to keep my wheel gap (which is currently 8.5” driver and 9” passenger, however that works…)
Sorry I’ve been off the forums for a bit.
Yes it does. Fans work just like stock.
Changed over to the MPT Tune. With the 91 MPX I’ve timed multiple 0-60 runs under 4.6 seconds, to include one at 4.49. We hit 111 this week in AZ and the IC is still doing a good job keeping...
I also posted this under the 0-60 thread, but thought I would add it here too:
A quick update providing some performance details. I have been using an app for years called Pocket Dyno on my iPhone. While it is no Dragy, it's been consistent enough for me and it's $free.99.

I did 3 back to back runs, and these are the highest 0-60 acceleration numbers from each. I used...
Ok, here is the initial datalog. These are AIT2 (charge air temps post IC) from 3 different Intercoolers. The top is the Wagner, middle is CV Fab, and the bottom is OEM. The Wagner drops from 125 degrees driving around then at a stop, to 105 at wide open throttle from 0-60, reaching 105 degrees...
I was referring to the issue of the lack of air rammed into the IC, due to the removal of the shroud extension. The way I had it, because I didn’t measure and trim that piece, the air wasn’t being forced through the unit. With the new one, it is thicker so it meets and seals itself to the shroud...
I had the CV Fabrications. The CVF was actually a great intercooler, especially for the price, and in their defense I could have trimmed the additional shrouding I had to remove, to make it flush against the unit. I did not know at the time the value there was for that feature related to...
Good evening everyone. I wanted to take some time to share my experience and thoughts on the Wagner Competition Intercooler, https://www.wagner-tuning.com/product/ford/ford-150/comp-ladeluftkuehler-kit-ford-f150-raptor-10-gang-200001119.html
This is the second aftermarket Intercooler I have...
