Winter sucks for mileage. So does the colder air. I got 20mpg all highway in July with the cruise set at 75. Today I got 17.5mpg. Same setting.

I used to run EBC reds on all my subarus. I had Hawks and they dusted like hell and didn’t work anywhere near as well past the first 5k miles or so. They also crumbled around the edges and failed inspection even though they had 1/2 thickness left. Like they couldn’t survive winter or something...

Yeah huge upsell. I took mine in for tires and safety/emissions inspections and they only charged me for the tires. At 33k. Get a better dealer.

Honestly I’m pretty sure a bigass intercooler and a good tune is the path. There aren’t really any critical issues for a stock motor to make more power. Past that it’s an order of magnitude.

I think Bronze is the right color for Avalanche. If I ever bother with new wheels that’s probably what I’ll be doing.
