Installed SPD TSTAT which fixed my no heat issue thank god and new one step colder Ford performance plugs. I have to say I love who ever designed the plug accessibility on these engines. My Tacoma was a nightmare to do plugs. This thing took me 25-30 minutes tops and that was holding a drink in one hand and a wrench in the other lol

Is there a torque requirement for installing new plugs?

Saw it hit 33,333.3 miles. Didn’t bother to pull over for a pic. Was on I-80 with my family and almost to our exit.

Glad you're okay! Good thing you didn't hit it squarely, cows do a lot of damage when hit. A passenger was killed locally when the head of the cow entered through the windshield.

Sucks you hit a cow. Glad no one was hurt. Sure could have been worse. Truck can be fixed or replaced. In my neck of the woods it's usually deer hits, but occasionally it's moose, and that can be life threatening cuz they can come right through the windshield.

I hit a Cow. Last night, on dark country roads, a HUGE black cow standing in the middle of the road. Swerved at the last second but, unfortunately, not enough. I hope it can be repaired. View attachment 328645View attachment 328646View attachment 328647View attachment 328648
I had nearly the same front end damage on my truck. Except my “cow” was in a Honda oddesy. It’s amazing how the headlight evaporates. There’s nothing left. I was lucky not to brake any clips on the grill.
Whoever you take it to they’re going to have a hard time color matching that bumper wing. It’s a matteish finish that needs the whole bumper resprayed/blended. I ended up buying a “new” take off on eBay. It was perfect and 1/2 the price I paid for a new “oem” replacement.
Good luck with the repair. It sucks but every once in a while we zig when we should of zagged.

Dropped it off for an oil change/tire rotation, mentioned to the service guy I just started to hear "the rattle" at 52k, he said let's just get it done.

So now without my truck for a couple weeks.
