GEN 2 Top 5 Mods for Stock Raptor?

Gang, looking for experienced owners opinions for modifications they would suggest I address as I move toward a engine performance tune. I would I like to buy a tuner package but before doing so want to address factory limitations to ensure first and foremost durability and longevity. I plant to keep my Raptor for 10 years or more. What would you suggest I first do to a stock 2019 raptor to set the stage for future tune. What are the Achilles heels in stock engine?

Honestly I’m pretty sure a bigass intercooler and a good tune is the path. There aren’t really any critical issues for a stock motor to make more power. Past that it’s an order of magnitude.

If it were me, I wouldn't take advice from a bunch of hoons on the internet, I'd talk to the tuner I was planning to use and ask them.

Deaver leaf springs. Will transform the rear end and help a lot with axle wrap.

Intercooler, especially since your location says TX. It will only take a couple consecutive full throttle pulls to induce heat soak, and the computer will start pulling power to stay alive. Run super unleaded and nothing but. Decide whether you want to go Front mount or stock location.

Depends heavily on what you want to do, I would look really hard at traction bars or the KHC torque arm (full disclosure, I organized the group buy and run the t/a). Both will address rear axle location , cut down on wheel hop and axle wrap while not altering the ride quality or compliance.

The 3.5TT is pretty high strung already, DON’T get greedy chasing hp numbers and especially torque. The 10r80 is only rated to about 590 pound feet of torque, so keep that in mind.

If you’re going to off road a bit, a spare set of wheels and tires goes a long way.

Thanks for the advice. Pic attached. No Prius Smurfy . Will look into intercooler. Any suggestions on brand/ manufacturers. Leaning toward MPT tuning. Any comments on MPT vs Goose?
