Love em. Can’t help ya with the performance blue but the Red matches my Ruby Red great. I got em more for the material which is not brittle in bitter cold and durable.
I think these were my 2nd Mod after the Tonneau cover. A necessity where I live (several miles beyond pavement in NW Montana).
Just my 2c but I wouldn’t pay 2c for graphics for a jack. Not worth my time to put them on. But I’m more of a function over form when it comes to my tools and garage. But bling for the beast....no problem.
Nothing wrong with K&N. There are tons of options for upgrading the CAI and you’ll get just about as many opinions as there are members of this forum, and many that will say its a waste of money. I think there are plenty of great options out there.
I went with the Airaid for a few reasons...
The S-type is a “middle of the road” approach to dB level. Louder when you hit the throttle but more refined otherwise. Possibly preferable in a more sensitive neighborhood. The ATAK is more balls out, loud dB level though I have found it to be pretty tame at cruising speeds. Some think it...
I do agree with FTO that the aftermarket services offered by the dealers are usually pure garbage. I know of a few dealers that apply an aftermarket coating they say is similar to F11 or one of the other spray on/wipe off coatings. Nothing wrong with them, just not worth several hundred bucks...
Definitely not trying to give you any advice cuz your ride looks amazing! Alphatwox even blacked out his front skid plate which you may or may not like too. I’ll try and find his post if I can.
The fact is that a ceramic coating will not cause this problem...Period. The coating put on by the dealerships is not even a ceramic coating of the type a professional would apply anyway. Unless you paid the dealership at least an extra thousand, you paid for a spray on/wipe off coating which...
That’s a nice stealthy look. Did you put Matte appliqués on the B pillars? Are you considering tinting drivers/shotgun windows? Not that it doesn’t look amazing, but just saying, that would be the icing on the cake for your look. Sweet Ride.
Cheapest I found was at Stage 3 Motorsports ($1032 on current sale) - pretty expensive bling...

Aaah....thought they would figure it out eventually. Kinda thought it was a mistake but one they didn’t pick up on for a long time. That $37 price was a steal. Too bad.
Here’s the next best price I’ve found ($46 is still pretty good)...
I only got the mid-pipes. In total agreement...the CF tips look amazing - even though I don’t have CF exterior accents, I was tempted. If you could buy the CF tips alone, I’d have done that but just couldn’t justify all that extra dough just for those tips. Alas, they don’t sell the tips...
Alpha!!! Too Funny...we’ve had this discussion before but I lamed out and didn’t look who was posting. I do like that look. For me it’s going to be permanent. All the light bar brackets raise it up too high so I’d planned on doing what you did. Is there any problem with permanently mounting...
Like Wender, I absolutely love my Borla ATAK. I’ve done a lot of mods and this is by far my fave. Here’s the YouTube Wender85 was probably talking about:
I think this is the best price right now...
Which light bar is that (Rigid SR? Paladin?)? Is it directly attached to top of bumper? Assume there’s very little encroachment on front camera view? Thx.
PS...brake calipers in red would be a nice addition to your tow hook accents. Did mine and pretty straightforward.
Had this Polished silver receiver cover that just didn’t work with the Ruby Red/Matte Black thing going on the beast. Just a little spray paint bling; problem solved.
The ESI product is designed to cover the sides and bottom and has specific instructions for each vehicle. Works very well. I’m sure there are other similar products out there which I consider absolutely Mandatory if you have any kind of topper. Seems kinda pointless without it as all kinds of...
Also need to remember the tailgate is extremely porous. Water, dust, snow, mud all comes through big gaps around tailgate. Never understood why they don’t make the tailgate seal like the doors. Pretty much required to put a barrier up if you have a tonneau and want to keep crap from filtering...
