After I rebuild/upgrade my shocks (still trying to figure out which route I want to go), I’ll be doing a bolt on front end....

Until then, however, I got the skid plate blacked out and tow hooks painted red. Not a bad look!

Which light bar is that (Rigid SR? Paladin?)? Is it directly attached to top of bumper? Assume there’s very little encroachment on front camera view? Thx.

PS...brake calipers in red would be a nice addition to your tow hook accents. Did mine and pretty straightforward.

Finished installing bump stop kit with Deavers and shackles. Can’t wait to try it out, just waiting on the billet UCA. Thanks SVC!

Did you do the install yourself? I ordered Icon leafs last week and couldn’t decide on bumps. Ordered extensions of the stock things, but maybe I should just get proper ones and do it all at once so I’m not wasting u-bolts farther down the line to install strike plates... Were you able to do the bumps with the bed still on?

Thanks man!
It’s a paladin, mounted to the bumper (unfortunately drilled with the kit that comes with the light vs buying another mounting system). It’s temporary though so I don’t mind. I’m going to be moving to an SVC Bolt On Bumper at some point here, so that bar will go away.

But for now, it was inexpensive, it’s stupid bright, and, yeah, the encroachment on the camera in extremely minimal. You maybe see about 1/8 of an inch in the view.

Alpha!!! Too Funny...we’ve had this discussion before but I lamed out and didn’t look who was posting. I do like that look. For me it’s going to be permanent. All the light bar brackets raise it up too high so I’d planned on doing what you did. Is there any problem with permanently mounting direct to bumper??

At least I’m consistent....I know I like your look!

Haha well I appreciate it!

No there is no problem with the “modification”. Two small holes and you’re done. For most people it’s just the idea of those two small holes into the bumper and if they change lights, there is the small issue of the holes. Other than that, it’s aaaaaall good!

Your truck is looking good, btw! You’ve done some good, basic mods since you’ve joined the forum!
