Is this the built in Nav? Do you actually use that? I’ve had nothing but issues with it on my ‘14. I generally know where I’m going, but if I don’t, I just use my phone. Does anyone else still use the built in nav that they haven’t upgraded on a Gen 1?

It absolutely sucks to be up north. I love the snow - when we get it, donuts are too fun in the Raptor - but we pay such a premium for vehicles as they get trashed so quickly in general.

Are you larger? I was concerned myself from day one, but I’m 6’3” and 220.

FWIW I was quoted 5k in Central IL a year back - before all this large scale inflation - to do rockers and cab corners. I’m sure it’s probably doubled by now. They would only do it all, not just corners, as they said everybody comes back a year or two later crying that their rockers rotted out...

Rockers aren’t as bad as yours yet, but give it time…:eek:

You’re in a pickle. I did the same, having not known about the 09-14 cab corner/rocker issue until too late. Bought a South Dakota by way of St. Louis truck. Checked out with PPI, no codes, everything else looked good, but they didn’t mention this as a future issue. Two years and IL salt...

Mine was relocated to slot 70 by a Ford dealer - I’m not an adept electrician, and if they screw it it falls on them. They put a sticker on top of the box that says “Fuel Pump Fuse 70”. Nice of them I guess.

My 2014 shifts harder from 2-3 than any other gears. It only happens when the trans temp is low on the first drive of the day and goes away after it’s warm. I also experience hard shifts in the low gears when only using light throttle. If I give it some juice it shifts smoother - she just wants...

My steering got tighter when I put them in. I liked that, some may not. Just and FYI from my experience.

Did the delete and have no regurts so far two years in. Off-road is limited to snowy donuts and gravel roads unfortunately. Probably not the best idea, but I just cut them and tied them up. No plugs. No problems yet. Now that I say that I’m sure something is going to sheet the bed.
