I am so late to this thread, but from my experience with replacing the whole harness… I was reading about people unplugging down at the wheels and capping there… but I don’t know why they just don’t unplug at the actuator (source) on the passenger firewall and plug there?! Seems much easier IMO

Just did RCV axles . RCV Elimnators . SDHQ Reinforced spindles and Timken hubs . Rcv elimnators are the strongest

Did the delete and have no regurts so far two years in. Off-road is limited to snowy donuts and gravel roads unfortunately.

Probably not the best idea, but I just cut them and tied them up. No plugs. No problems yet.

Now that I say that I’m sure something is going to sheet the bed.

Interesting how yours have a window in them, but the ones I ordered from SDHQ (in Dec) are solid. Were yours also 1/8" ?

They are SDHQ but from a few years back i bought the spindles already welded up from a guy next town over that didn't finish his build . They probably changed design to save a few cuts on their machine . I was going to paint them steel it Black but ran out of time when a window opened to install them and you really can't see them .

No i had been running with vacuum lines off last few years .

My steering got tighter when I put them in. I liked that, some may not. Just and FYI from my experience.
