You just run less pressure. I noticed zero change in ride quality between the OEM D range BFG's tires that were still on my truck at 44psi, and switching to Nitto E range tires and running 38-40psi.
I have the AT2's currently, and they are wayyyyy better than the BFG KO2's on my buddies Gen2 raptor. If toyo did a good job with the AT3 and it's an improvement over the AT2 (which is already a great tire), its going to be an awesome tire.
The rings that have an angle cut on them. Idk what else to call them. There are two per side. One goes on top of/outside the shock mount, one goes on top the shock/inside the shock mount. But Im 99.99% sure you put both on the shock, which is why you have the extra height. I can tell from the...
They are reinforcing rings, one goes on each side. But putting them both on the shock side makes the shock taller, so now they're a "spacer".
So you need to pull the shocks back out and reinstall those properly, and that will lower the front. Likely enough to sit slightly below level like it...
Where did you put the spacers for the front strut mount? Are they both on the shock, or is one on the shock and one on the outside/top of the frame mount under the nuts?
Compared to the pic here, your strut isn't all the way in the bucket. I think you double stacked the factory spacer deals...
Just want to make a comment-
The "difference" in "low end" that you feel, specifically the truck "shooting" away off the line is entirely due to how the throttle pedal is programmed. 5star is commanding more torque (or throttle blade angle) from the lower pedal positions than JDM. It makes the...
I wouldn't say they're unaffordable. They're expensive. Two billet camshafts and a set of 16 valve springs and Ti retainers for my Evo is ~$1000. Four (4) camshafts for a coyote are ~$1600.
Comparatively, the Livernois "kit" is $2600. One could argue the rocker braces, valve seals, and phaser...
You probably didn't go nearly as fast off road in those other two trucks.
Please stop staying "$70k" truck. It's really a $32k F150 with (allegedly) $38k worth of drivetrain, suspension, leather, and electronics/features upgrades. And those upgrades do not include upgraded fasteners for...
Offroading is going to cause rattle eventually. Lots of high frequency vibration so there's really no way around it. "Offroad designed" does not mean it won't develop interior squeaks and rattles.
My truck is due for coolant change (just hit 100k), and since I rarely go where it's below zero, or even below freezing I'll be putting in a 25% coolant mix.
Your experience with the full race has me second guessing that purchase as I was planning to put a radiator in the truck while doing the...
Towing 9500lbs is pretty extreme. Doesn't surprise me, especially knowing the hills and elevation are pretty gnarly in CO. Thats solid performance out of the intercooler though.
My Raptor runs 225 water and trans temp going 65mph up mountain pass/baker grade and grape vine in California towing...
Yes, except SDHQ has the CBR for $980.
CBR is made in the US and good quality. I met and talked to Clint (one of the owners) at a few desert races back in 2011-2012.
I wrench enough to know the tools aren’t the same.
There’s no personal attack in post 36. Unless you thought I was calling you insane. Which I wasn’t. Was only saying the price is insane.
Oooo SDHQ has the CBR for $980. IIRC this was linked earlier to a site that had it for $1200.

Last event it was 95*. Front bumper taped off except the intercooler opening, which is filled with ... intercooler. So the radiator is only seeing "used" air. Also the radiator is single core, 1" lol. The cooling system is putting in work.
I see you've found that you can't prove you spent an...
