You probably didn't go nearly as fast off road in those other two trucks.

Please stop staying "$70k" truck. It's really a $32k F150 with (allegedly) $38k worth of drivetrain, suspension, leather, and electronics/features upgrades. And those upgrades do not include upgraded fasteners for interior components unfortunately.

I'm not trying to a be a ****, just trying to give you some perspective here. If you drive something offroad the way the raptor is meant to, it simply going to acquire squeaks and rattles. Just like the paint still scratches like any other truck when you drive it through a bush.

I had a major squeak in mine that sounded like interior noise. The resolution ended up being tightening up the hood latch. This is a gen 1, but put your hands on the hood and give it a good shake, you will be able to hear it.

The other thing you can do is sit in the truck and have someone bounce up and down on the tailgate, and lay under the front end and bench press the bumper to see if you can replicate the noise, you will be able to tell if it is interior or exterior more quickly. It's also easier to isolate these things when you aren't contending with road noise.

@B E N yes, that's a good idea - that's how I determined it's coming from the doors but I will try the bumpers and other parts. The squeaks sound like they're coming from glass or metal rubbing against the weatherstrip. Most of the noise is coming from the rear drivers door. I was going to have the dealer take a look while it's in for service, maybe they can make some door adjustments. Thanks for offering an idea rather than telling me to lower my expectations, ha ha.

How do you get rid of your squeaks and rattles in your Raptor while cruising offroad?

I have a 2020 Raptor Super Crew, loaded other than the blue seats. I would expect a 70k truck to ride pretty quiet, but mine recently has been pretty noisy. Like, bad enough the whole family rejoiced in unison Sunday when 4 hrs of dirt road ended and we were back on pavement. That seemed a ironic since I paid a grundle for a specialty "offroad designed" truck.

Squeaks sound like they are coming from weatherstrip rubbing on the door jamb or window maybe. Rattles are pretty minimal but probably body panels, not sure anything can be done about that. When I got home I emptied everything from the truck and coated all the weatherstrip with 303 Aerospace protectant - it helped a little but still aweful squeaky. Any tips?

I love the comfort and ride of the Raptor, but shoot - My tundra trd pro was half the cost and had no squeaks or rattles other than items i might have in my doors or under the seat. I need to get this fixed - My daughter was mad at me already for selling my TRD Pro, now she's rubbing it in!

You seem to have a negative perception of Ford and the Raptor and a strange idea of what squeaks and rattles are, especially coming from a Toy, which might as well be made from wet noodles compared to an F-150. We're talking about a vehicle that can't go over speed bumps without having the bed physically contact the cab at any speed above a crawl; the Sequoia uses the same weak open c-channel frame.

Also not sure how a $55k **** Pro is ""half the cost" of a Raptor, maybe you're just bad at math? Not seeing how $55k is "half" the cost of $65k. Do you work for Toyota, or are you really that biased?

Here is the Tundra trying to pass a basic Ford durability test, which it fails miserably with bed to cab contact:

I've had my Raptor off road at high speed many times and I have never had the "noise" you're claiming is an issue. Nor have I ever heard it in any other F-150, Raptor or not. The fact that you even wasted your money on a Tundra or Sequoia says a lot; both are at the bottom of the class aside from Nissan, which is as low as you can go. I've spent years in the field repairing both of those pieces of trash, which is why I can't stand the "but my Toyota" posts when I know for a fact that you are straight up lying.

As far as 303 Aerospace, it is not a lubricant, it’s a cleaner/protectant. If in fact a body closure is making noise due to the weatherstripping, Krytox grease should be applied to resolve it.

@FordTechOne ha, ha. Wow, simmer down dude. Just because I experience more squeaks and rattles in my Ford than you have doesn't make me a liar.

It has nothing to do with your concern. It’s your absurd claim that an antiquated Tundra with it’s jello frame and playskool grade interior has zero squeaks or rattles over the same surface your claiming your Raptor is unbearable on. That is classic Toyota fanboy garbage, just like your ridiculous claim that your Raptor cost “twice as much” as a **** pro. You can bring up a concern or ask for help without making ridiculous statements and claims.

If you believe the noise concern is coming from the weatherstrip to door frame contact, first ensure that the door alignment is correct by inspecting the weatherstrip contact marks in the door jamb. If The alignment seems correct, apply silicone grease (not the aerosol kind) to the suspect area. If the noise is resolved, you can obtain some Krytox grease (more expensive) as a long term solution.
