Fast Turn Signals But Hazard Lights Are Normal?

you should also check your BCM. I had issues with the Alpharex LED tail lights. I'm pretty sure the resistors went out on them and caused a code in the BCM so even with good lights i got hyper blink. I used this tool to scan and clear the code. Looks like its not available but you should be...

Finally picked up my Gen 1 — now the fun starts!

I'd definitely do # 1, 2 and 3. As for the sunroof, I've always been curious how people have issues with the drain tubes. I get that they drain into the body panel but i'm confused how they actually accumulate water. When my sunroof is closed, its sealed pretty tight to the roof so I'm not...

    Bed Supports

The tie rods come out pretty easily, which would just leave the lugs sticking up, but those are only 1.5-2in tall. Removing the rest would be a little more involved, having to pull the tail light to get at the bolts and pulling the bed bolt. You might be able to fabricate a nut plate for the...

Interior modifications, anything else you guys have added?

I hydro dipped my door handles and they came out really good. I just bought a kit from Amazon and did it myself. It’s not super hard, you just need a decent size water tank Maybe do a couple practice parts to get the technique

General Advice for Factory Shock Service

Very unlikely they will come down in price. Summit had them for 450 and then went 800 each so I’d buy them now if you need them or just do the exchange and save yourself some money

I don’t have a Gen 3 to do test fitting Plus i think it will increase the machining cost too much for me. GJ and RPG make one with a camera mount

GEN 2 Any Difference between stock oem shocks for SCAB and SCREW?

Gen 2 SCABs are pretty rare but i know the Gen 1 shocks have slightly different valving between the 2 cabs. I would assume the same for Gen 2. Would you be able to tell the difference? Probably not.

    Shock rebuild

Shocks by Hammer and TSW Offroad offer a shock exchange program. You buy rebuilt shocks from them and send in your old ones. The only down time is the time it takes you to swap them out.

    GEN 2 Nitrogen Pressure Gauge?

i bought one from Schmidty Fronts should be at 200psi and rears should be 150 but you won't get those readings unless you are at full droop in the rear and the fronts will always be higher unless you take off the spring. But if you are just trying to find equal pressure you should be fine...

Different brand shocks on front and rear axel ok?

I think i does make a difference when you throw Icon into the mix. Icon's are considered regressive shocks, meaning they are stiffer off the top and soften as they get into the travel. King and Fox are the opposite. I'm not sure why Icon went this route but it obviously works, however i would...

    Where to rebuild shocks

I've rebuilt Gen 2 non live valve shocks and they're a bit of a PIA. The fronts are difficult because the bypass tube is threaded into the bottom eyelet, so you have to heat it up to break the loctite so you can access the IFP underneath. The rears are difficult because the IFP in the piggy...

Gen 1 to Gen 2 Suspension

I've rebuilt both gen 1 and gen 2 shocks and the gen 2's are far superior in design. However, they won't be tuned for a gen 1 so you'd probably want to play with the shim stack to get it to work the best, but i would have no idea what to do there. I also get nervous when i have to cut the...

What did u do to your raptor today?

ohhhh jeeze, i'm surprised you got it off over the cap. The first time i had my shocks rebuilt i cut the ring off so i could clean them up, same as you and i bought new retaining rings. When i sent the shocks out to get rebuilt, i asked them to install the new ring. Well, they didn't and i...

    eBay Knockoff Fox Shocks

I’m pretty sure the only difference between Super Crew and Super Cab shocks is the shim stack. The SCAB have a lighter stack in the rear. Fronts are almost identical.
