with a 5 tire rotation every 7k miles, I had to replace all 5 tires at 42k miles..... had tread for another 5k easy......but they were so loud I decided to replace.
Good job. looks great. thanks for doing it correctly by using the ZEN A2B
Too many good installs are neutered by people too cheap to do it correct and get the ZEN
standard on most any car..... show the dealer, they can correct in body shop under warranty.....or pay your guys to do it to your standard.
I agree, it sucks....but expected when delivery takes a porter from factory to rail yard. Rail car trip, and a truck trip from rail yard to dealer. so...
to me it sounds like the transfer case is shifting location or sliding on its mounts as slack is added or removed from the drive line.
Or maybe the exhaust system is sliding back and forward.
I have crawled under the truck and find no obvious things out of sorts. Any idea what to check, or...
I am sure it was delivered to the dealer just as Ford says.
The dealership owner, or sales manager is just driving it for a few days on a camping trip to do some quality checks for you.
You will get it with 1,500 easy miles and all the dirt will be cleaned up by some low level tech in the auto...
I don't call it cheap, I call it normal price.
If not for the messed up last 3 years, $40k is what I would expect to pay for a 5 year old used truck with 35k miles, especially if that truck was less then $60k new.
Used to be you drove off the lot and lost $10k value.
A LOT of people on these...
love the black wheels on the 951.
My father in law bought the 944 new in 1990. drove it sparingly. when he passed, my wife and I got the Porsche, her sister got the tractor, her brother the f250. I think we won :)
sweet...my 1st internet oil fight of 2023....
:)
For the record, I have used Mobil 1 full synthetic since 1992 in all my cars (except the 944). It has never done me wrong, even with some formulation changes over the years. 7000-8000 mile changes and I just don't worry about oil.
bought new oct 2018. 4 years 3 months and just turn 50,000 miles.
cam phaser recal repair......has not seen a dealer for anything else.
I fixed drivers seat heater myself.
I usually "sprint" to 75.....highway entrance ramps are there for a reason. Enter at speed or die. so when I come off throttle at 70 or 75...the truck is not sure if I am entering a sweeper or not....as it is supposed to in sport mode.
every mode has its time and place.
if I know I am never going above 45mph, sport mode is great...less shifting, keeps the truck in the power band. But if I am going 50+ or interstate, always normal mode. sport mode keeps the revs too high too long and is reluctant to shift to 10th...
