Yes, more than a/t, but honestly the difference compared to my old wild peaks is negligible..really impressed with how quiet they are for their tread design.
Since I bought my truck 2.5 years ago I always wanted to black out the front silver painted portion of the bumper. Line-x didn't want to do it as they didn't think they could get a clean tape line, and while I rarely get much opportunity off-pavement, I didn't think paint or plasti-dip would...
I asked my detailer this a while back and his opinion was that in most cases the bedside should be able to be polished, or wetsanded and polished and it not be an issue. I'm sure others here will have first hand experience though, and be more help.
I have the exhaust and started with no resonator...sounded good, but did drone some..still nothing like the drone I had with my Borla type S on my old GC Srt8, but was enough to make me reinstall the resonator....plenty loud still but a little more subdued.
looks great! I actually just got r/t's installed a few hours ago and am impressed overall. im coming from falken wildpeak's and I gotta say the ride and noise with the r/t's isn't as different as I woulda expected.
they are pretty fun in a whole different way than the newer cars out there. with that said, we are building another e30 m3 at the moment with an s52 in it...im excited to see how it ends up. wont be as nostalgic overall, but should be a blast to drive
mine is a rear exit...while I don't have first hand experience with a side exit, id like to believe the resonator would still add good benefit being back in
I was unhappy with the drone of my roush exhaust and I was told to weld back in the resonator from the stock exhaust...it helped enough to make me happy with the sound now. unfortunately I know you don't have an oem exhaust, so maybe roush or the dealer will help you locate a resonator...
great truck congrats! looks like you got the exhaust figured out, but I had the same issue and it got some better when we welded the stock resonator back in line. unfortunately being a roush factory truck you probably never had yours, so nice work with the swap.
My Nissan has the 9500 and my merc came with a hardwared v1 already. No matter what setting I can't get the v1 to shut up:).it makes me think it's crying wolf all the time. I prefer the escort at this point but we will see.
