Smelt like clutch to me. After I was rowing through the gears in manual mode I could smell it. Put it back in normal/sport and it went away. Shifting felt fine. Truck sounds like a Nissan GTR. Too much fun! I'll monitor and break it in "slowly"

Haven't seen any topic on this for the GEN3, but on my first drive today in Manual mode, pushing a little, nothing super intense, but I could smell come clutch. Truck has 1300 miles after it's delivery drive from Colorado to WA. Smell went away quickly. Is this normal for "break in" or...

Took delivery this morning. She's dirty!

Selling my brand new 17" OEM Raptor Wheels. Dealer removed for me before I even took delivery. They are mint (the defect in the photo is just grease) $200/wheel + shipping. Individually boxed and ready to go!

Ford can't "shut down" Cobb and nobody is implying it's a bad tune. It can void the warranty. That's all.

Absolutely. The whole point of the tune is to push the truck beyond factory spec. Ergo....void! Not hard folks.

No offense to the mods but in all my years of auto forums I've never seen these kinds of post requirements. IMO they have the opposite affect on the quality of new users posts, but...meh.

Well, the saga is nearly complete! Dealer shared some pics for me. I unfortunately have had to wait a few extra weeks after my truck was damaged at the dealership a day before it's original delivery. That is all repaired, and in that time I decided to buy some new Method 305's that the dealer...

I have always used Optima red top batteries in all my cars, including our classic Bronco which sits for many weeks or months at a time in the winter. Never once had a failure or any issue whatsoever.

Sounds like a bad battery. Put an Optima in it.

Yeah, this is really the right mindset. As was said, it depends on the circumstances. Each owner will have to determine his level of desire for the aftermarket stuff, and level of acceptable risk for any issues that might arise. Cool guy parts are cool, until they're not.

My new Gen3 with the wheels mounted. Delivery scheduled for Monday! Never before have I wanted a weekend to be over so quickly.... Full photo review forthcoming separately once I get my hands on her.

Some say you can remove the flash and they'll cover it, but it's tough to say. Depends on the issue really. I want the COBB tune as well but I'll be waiting until there are enough use cases to know how Ford will typically react to warranty claims with tuned trucks.
