FordTech pulled the record on mine before I bought it. It showed mine were replaced mid-2020. When we took it apart, they were the old (2nd revision) parts.

Just to close the loop on this... I purchased a new APIM from eBay (guy out of Ohio, none of that Chinese knock-off crap). I paid $$$ for it. But, at least it was VIN programed and I didn't have to go to a dealer. It was plug-and-play! My settings were even saved when I fired the truck up...

Oh I see what you mean. Yeah that's true, there is a lot going on. The system worked flawlessly for 6 months. I noticed while using CarPlay a few weeks ago that the nav was "freezing". Both on the Google Maps and Waze apps. It would keep repositioning every 5-8 minutes or so and then freeze...

330's are little beasties for sure. Love the E46 in general. Just make sure they've fixed the subframe issue before you buy.
