I ended up installing these. They do help! Still hoping someone with a gen 1 will come back and post a pic of lights mounted in the bumper (kinda like the gen2 guys do).

Curious, did you use the BD harness or some other. How is this holding up?

I was looking at these. Quick question, how long was the harness that you bought with them? Wondering if its long enough to reach into the cab and get to the upfitter switch location... I havent been able to find any install documentation for the kit yet.

Happens weekly. and id wager that almost all are for that reason alone. We should just change the title to specify the gen and it would solve the isssue....if you call that an issue
