Interesting, thanks for the call out on that. Thinking about it, perhaps I passed alot of assumptions along with my answer. To answer you, I dont have anything special. my truck is stock. The noise I have certainly is consistent on cold starts as mentioned, and goes away if I turn the key on...

I have an issue like this when the truck is cold and the temps outside are cooler than 70's. If I turn the key to prime the oil pump before starting it pretty much goes away all together. This leads me to believe its related to that in my case.

Boring maintenance this weekend. Replaced the trans pan with a doorman brand with drain. OEM Trans filter, OEM Trans Fluid, OEM "Saudi cooler" 2.5 hrs all in. Going to the beach again in a few days so Im glad I got it done. Truck trans temp gets hot out on the beach.

Anyone had luck with the R1 concepts kit they sell on rock auto? They have a few kits. all come with drilled and slotted rotors and optimum pads of varying styles.

Took the side decals off the truck finally. I liked the way they complimented the paint and they looked neat but in the end they were just too flashy for me. Ive had the truck a year and a half and I just couldnt bring myself to keep them.

It would be cool if the company that supports it would have a future update to make the vehicle in the display look less like a tesla. or just remove that all together on second thought.

I ended up installing these. They do help! Still hoping someone with a gen 1 will come back and post a pic of lights mounted in the bumper (kinda like the gen2 guys do).

I was looking at these. Quick question, how long was the harness that you bought with them? Wondering if its long enough to reach into the cab and get to the upfitter switch location... I havent been able to find any install documentation for the kit yet.

Thanks @Ricoman this is the type of feedback I’m looking for. And yes I often will back down my driveway which is super dark so I’m looking for supplemental light to the reverse lights. I’ll check it out
