Went looking at some new fords today. Seen a limited on the lot. My ? To you all is would you purchase a limited instead of a raptor. Keep in mind im not going to be using a raptor to it's full potential (i live in rhode island and there really isnt any place to go, no desert). The limited is cheaper by a few thousand. Love the raptor but ............

A limited would do me somewhat better too but, since the Raptor looks so cool and their are only a few in comparison to the regular F150's I when the Raptor way... I tow a large trailer and real I should have a F250 to use the trailer to its full potential but, like I said the Raptor is so cool looking I would rather have the uniqueness of it than the other

For daily driving, this is all that matters: The Raptor has THE most comfortable seats Ford has ever made. Mine is a daily driver and I absolutely love it. I can tow more with it than I can with my Expedition too.

Really, you have to make your own decision. The Raptor is just soo cool it hurts. Then again, the Limited is actually limited, and may hold its value better. Also, like you said, it cost less than the Raptor and may be cheaper to drive depending on engine, tires, drive train, etc.

I like both the raptor and the limited but if anyone is planning to do any sort of off roading I would stay away from the limited. Very nice F-150 its downfall in my oppinion is its 2WD AWD 4x4 high. It offers no low range the older limited F-150 were AWD or 4H only so now they offer 2WD. That would be a vehicle I would buy if I didn't take off a paved road

Your joking right? All that money you spent on that hair club for men hair piece and you want to push it all straight up in the air in a covertible? Raptor at 60 with all the windows down, roof top open, back slider open will get you the same ******** but you will look a tad bit more manly gettin it! AHhahaaaaaaaaa. Raptor bubba.....

I have a Platinum now and am going to a Raptor, that meen anything to you?
The interior and gussied up and that stuff is nice, but I see them everywhere, plus a limited has 22 inch wheels, they do not like holes or curbs much.I am always worried when I get near a curb or hit a pothole and I have 20's with the next size up tire.

Lol - I aim for curbs, potholes and speedbumps!
I'm not a fan of 22's or 20's - thats a street queen thing. I know we have to have 17's to fit over the brake calipers - but that still leaves enough of a cushion to be forgiving with curbs etc.
