Do they offer any additional octane flashes or is 93 all they have? Thinking more along west coast where we only have 91/92 octane in most places.

This is a question for everyone that will be purchasing the Whipple tune. How do you plan to return to the Stock Tune if need be since the Tomahawk tool doesn't save the Stock Tune to swap back in fourth? I ran into this issue when I had the Whipple tune on my GEN2 and needed to take it in for the Cam Phaser issue.

I emailed Whipple CS and asked them, here was their reply: "Our tool was not set up to store the stock tune and it was something Ford didn't want to be done".

I also asked about how it impacted the Ford warranty since they collaborated, this was their reply: "Our warranty is 12 months against manufacture defects on our products. The Ford warranty is something you'll have to check with your dealer".

Damn, just when you get a little excited to be able to do something with a '23 and up, that news kind of nut punches ya.

Yeah, I’ve had several cars tuned in the past and they always left a copy of your stock tune. This just seems retarded and possibly shady if Ford made that decision so they could blame engine issues on the tune down the road.

It feels like in just a few years if not already the entire idea of "tuning" will be gone completely. Maybe partnerships like this will exist but not without their lawyers and gotchas.

I was hopeful with this but if I'm going to risk the warranty I might as well PCM swap my '23 and get the full MPT treatment. Probably be able to revert things back if I needed to for a trip to the dealership.

Even considering the price....It seems like the best way forward...ultimately.
