Nice!!!! What about takin then out and in. Theres no fastening? They just alide right in with the splines?

They have snap rings that help hold them in place. Usually takes a little tugging to pull them out and some pushing to get them back in. Just make sure the snap ring comes out still on the end of the shaft. Sometimes they don't and you have to pull the front diff cover to retrieve it. Its really not too difficult.

yuppp took my old ones apart... quite easy... tested my aftermarket cv boots which are thicker than the stock ones fit great.
I got 8 extra boots so if i ever gear a tear ill just change the boot asap to avoid contamination that is if i dont snap the joints before. lol

nice so you had a set laying around huh. i need to change the outer boot on the passenger side i was playing in the dirt and ran over a this tree branch and when i heard it slam against the skids and underside i knew something might have happened so i pulled over about 2 miles down the trail and there was a big gash in the boot and grease slung everywhere lol i was just curious about how hard and how long it takes to take the axle assembly out.

Yea I figured it would an all day thing pulling it off and changing the boot I just need to find a heavy duty boot now haha
