Cylinder 8 misfire engine light

Just the injectors? So that rules out a bad injector, that's a start.
Now you need to swap only the coil pack first (see what happens) and then the one spark plug wire and if need be the two sparks.

Did you do headers?

Injectors, coil pak, spark plug, and spark plug wire are brand new as stated before.

Yes have headers

Well, at least you ruled those out.

Try checking the header bolts next.
Check the front O2 sensor wire on drivers side.
This a long shot as well, usually lean /rich error codes pop up.

Do you know your short and long fuel TRIMS?

It's more likly a harness issue, well that is the cheaper fix.
Next cheapest would be the X4 and Tune.
Other than replacing the cam phaser or the PCM.

When you swaped everything over did you flash back to stock and reflash the Tune and did you do a battery disconnect?

Some systems require you to clear the codes each time. Otherwise it thinks its still there even though it was fixed...
Similar thing with an ignition problem on my old Bronco. Kept throwing the code and acting the same way until I cleared the fault code.

Yeah I cleared the code and it still misfires and flashes engine light

Is Roush willing to help you?
Or do you have a custom Tune?

You can data log with the X3 or with a laptop and the X3 with SCT Live Link installed on the laptop for a more robust data log file.
You just need the Tuner to send you the file for data logging.

Was the dealer willing to work with the X3 or they gave you a had time?
Otherwise you may want to seek out a speed shop that does a lot of Mustangs and has full knowledge of the SCT device.

What is the code you're getting?


Misfire Monitor Operation:
DTCs P0300 to P0310 (general and specific cylinder misfire)
P1336 (noisy crank sensor, no cam/crank synchronization)
P0315 (unable to learn profile)
P0316 (misfire during first 1,000 revs after start-up)
P0313 (misfire detected with low fuel level)

No I'm using JDM tuning so roush is no help. That's what I am doing now I found a local speed shop but they are two weeks backed up so I'll just have to wait. I'm gonna replace the battery and possibly try the X4 before taking it in tho.
