As far as i understand the differences between the early eco boost and the raptor is the shutters...right? Nothing more...
I'll drill the IC if my truck has hesitation issues. If something else breaks while the hole is in, I'll just swap out the ic before taking it in that way they can't blame it on that.

That is what I am trying to tell you - Ford has no fix for this. If you take it to them for the misfire, they have no idea how to fix it. The weep hole does the trick and keeps you, your passengers and other vehicles safe.
