Yes they have open carry. There are a couple of municipalities that have restrictions on it but the state allows it (few restrictions). Where are you moving to in NC?

So many people have to ride the short bus to school in NC, it's really the long bus there.

He's right, I don't see any short buses around here and I pass the local school bus barn every day on my way to work (no short buses)
