Hey guys. I haven't posted a lot here on the forums, but I've been lurking around for quite a while. I'm just a couple hours up I-40 from Carolina Beach and this sounds like a lot of fun. I'd love to try make it if there's a spare spot on the beach.

I won't know for a couple days if I'll definitely be able to make it, but I'll post as soon as I know for sure.

Welcome! Of course there is a spot, it's the beach, lol... this is just a get together and hang out, no real set time. A lazy day at the beach.

Pack a lunch and come on out.

Anybody going out this weekend? I leave on Sunday for a few weeks and Sat I am celebrating my 30th birthday on Saturday. Would be cool if there was some raptor shenanigans for a birthday party! I live in Virginia Beach so only a short drive for me and the chicka.

Here are the tide predictions for Oak Island for the 26th and 27th. They are at odd hours this time and we will either have to meet very early in the morning or evening for actual low tide, or just try to make the most of what is there when we do arrive.

July 26th
In the high tide and low tide chart, we can see that the first low tide will be at 4:48 am and the next low tide at 5:16 pm. The first high tide will be at 11:01 am and the next high tide at 11:26 pm.

July 27th
In the high tide and low tide chart, we can see that the first low tide will be at 5:35 am and the next low tide at 6:10 pm. The only high tide of the day will be at 11:58 am.
