Bird, I recommend getting the other speed rating that these tires are offered in. They're more durable and last longer. I've seen significant wear in my tires after 7k miles. The set that were the harder compound lasted 60k miles and it still would have gone at least 5k if I wasn't so paranoid.

Longevity doesn't matter in this case. He's just buying the tires so he doesn't have to turn in his aftermarkets when he trades in for the '13 Raptor he ordered.

I agree the R rated are what gave the BFG A/T its reputation for lasting a long time. I too was disappointed with the stock S rated A/Ts but at JANGLES said, I am trading the tires in anyway.
