Those Freqs are mur's freqs. They where chosen due to the ease of finding murs radios if the participant didn't want to spend $200 on a vhf radio.
OK, but just make sure to let everybody know that has an existing Icom radio, they need to be re-programmed... not something most people are probably thinking about. Most radios have to be programmed by a dealer, unless you have the software and laptop for it.

You can do a simple add and just do a City and Stare, or You can type in your addy.
