i dont know.... ever since day 1 i got my truck and rolled it in the garage in N. The cv's still spin.
That's why when the boot rips even in 2 wd it still spills out grease because it keeps turning.
Im sure my IWE isnt shot. i took apart my wheel hub and checked for damage, it was all good

i got my kings put in by a retard and he didnt instal them properly. He just stuck the shock into place without removing the blue billet top part and mounting it ontop of the frame bracket. So now my upper control arm sits half a inch from the coil. and since it was so high when he installed the shock it was like 2 inches taller than top perch and in 2wd i took off and ripped both CV boots wide open. didnt even know until after i got home from fishing and going on gravel roads so my joints are deffinately dirty. Worst part this idiot charged me 250 for almost 3 hours of labour and now doesnt want to re do it for free. morons.
going to my mechanic today to get it re installed. Ill check my hub and IWE again meanwhile. but im 100 percent sure that my cv's spin all the time ever since i got the truck

will probably just wing it on top perch. if the boots break then for sure the rcv axles. but if i could get a decent price now i would go for them. if i go mid perch then the front will be lower than back. i have the 1 inch over rear springs. got 2 months to think about it. jack

aftermarket shocks... get them... set them 1 inch under top perch but above middle. Then your cv's will be fine.
My kings are setup 1 inch lower than top perch. the reason my cv's tore was because of a moron installing them. im sure if my shocks were installed correctly at the proper height they wouldnt of failed

Well do your Kings make any noise from the front shock? i have a set and have had nothing but problems with them from day one. And can't figure out where the noise is coming from. It sounds like the springs are binding a little and i know they don't have isolators but another person has them and his don't make any noise at all. Any idea on what it could be. Only two to three months old and never seen off road because i am afraid to take it an do more damage to the shocks. I have tie rods upper control arms up front and those are fine
