I'm going through the day 1 stuff and it appears that our hero 2 was accidentally set to take pictures every few seconds instead of video...whoops. I now have 3000 pictures of the trail and Donk's ass (when we could catch up to him)

Here are a little trip details... 4 hotels, 7 states, 2479 miles, 2 time zones, 52 hours in the truck, 206 gallons of gas, 5 tanks gas, and we drove completely around lake Michigan..

haha i said the last part too! i put about 1800 miles on my truck, and when people said that its too much driving in such a short amount of time, my reply was that atleast i can say i drove completely around Lake Michigan in just a few days!


im pretty bummed about my gopro footage... i have like 2 videos from above the truck that are ok, but uneventful. the stuff like my big drift around a corner and then the one of me slamming into that tree(sapling) are nothing more than a snow covered lense....


and then the badass bumpy road during the snow, was set to taking pics instead of video, so we thought we were turning it on and then turning it off..... we were snapping pics..... and then gopro footage from incab looks good........ uhm... 4 guys stuck in a truck all that time.... makes for some horrible commentary LOL. thats an audio track that needs deletion and quick!!!!

I am requesting that the January Photo of the Month Contest have something to do with the 1st Inaugural SnoBall 500!

I understand that not all forum members will be able to participate but based on the successful effort Jason, Mark, Jimmy and Icon put into this, there should be an exception made...

Yeah, bring up the frame issue really changed the mood in the room.. At least to me, it went quickly from warm and welcoming to short and defensive. At least Jamal was not happy this issue was brought up..

I think you are very much mistaken Greg, Jamal's answer in true Jamal fashion of very blunt & to the point. Many of us found it quite humorous.

For anyone wonder what Jamal's response was...

When asked about it Jamal paused for a second and said...
"How do I say this... We sell many trucks to marginal drivers who forget you need to slow down before hitting the 5ft ditch. The truck has run the Baja 1000 and many many miles of testing without bending any frames."

Now I will admit he did quite a bit of dancing around the subject of the power steering tanks/pumps.
