For those still int he process of getting your cold weather gear (Matt) I just want to remind you that cotton socks are something to avoid. Get a thermal/polyester/wool type material that wicks moisture away from your skin because when you get out in the snow it cotton can lead to frostbite. :sunot:

Any other tips for clothing? Beanies, Earmuffs, Gloves, etc??

clothe in layers. all i can tell you. Layers is the most important thing other than having extra socks ect dry incase you get wet

yes... but you have to be properly layered so your body heat doesnt escape.
Proper layers are wicking layers, insulator(s) and outter shell for wind protection as well as to keep your inside dry.

A wet layer is a useless layer.
