We may need to start working the crew at Superduty HQ to come along so they can bring the SDHQ built Denton Racing chase rig!! I mean it just happens to have all ICON Suspension on it, but also looks like they have some experience that might come in handy at the SnoBall 500!!!!

This thing could carry any and all equipment needed for repairs, extra fuel, tow a flatbed trailer for fatal damage and so on.

That is one hell of a rig!

Personally I'd love to have SDHQ (and any other supporting vendor) involved in any capacity. Unfortunately aside from some initial interest when started approaching vendors, we haven't had much response to our inquiries for support, donations, sponsorship, etc. Granted, we understand that Raptor is a relatively small portion of their overall business and they have a great deal of commitments elsewhere, we don't fault them (or anyone else for that matter) for not jumping on board.

If you haven't lately, you might want to poke them again. They might not have foreseen how big this event would become. Their Raptor business might be a small portion of their business but I believe it's still significant.

I reached out to Matt Farah, Jessi Combs, and Cory Weller.. Maybe one of them will attend...

Hmmmm. I wonder if either of those ladies would mind being my co-driver.

Raptor business may lead to other business. Granted all my other vehicles are limited builds (cause GM killed them or they are 30 years old), I would love to support / purchase parts from many of these companies. Their product lines go well past Ford and the Raptor specific

I agree.. Even though it is some time cheaper to go directly to the supplier than vendor. The customer service you get from the vendors is second to none and worth the extra money..

I found the opposite to be true that it is usually cheaper to go to the vendors with a phone call. I have been told by the supplier of an optics company that they won't compete with their vendors. I don't know if the suppliers here have a similar policy, but I have got a much better deal on most of my mods by a direct phone call to lighting, suspension and protection parts vendors. These guys will have my continued support.

Labraptor,
It is open to everyone registered. As long as you register by 12/21/12 you have the chance to attend.

Jason

Thanks. I just wondered, I didn't have anything to go by except the references to it much earlier in this thread. There was a mention of an email announcement. But, I registered pretty late and thought I might have missed it. Also thought SVT might have a limit so they don't have a whole bus load of oversized little kids drooling on their stuff
