I'm resurrecting this thread to ask about payload increase for HD springs, I have them in my garage and might have to tow one raptor with the other. What's the payload increase with these WSI HD leafs?

From a placard and legality perspective I'd agree; however research shows that you can increase the payload with things like add a leaf or hd springs. At the end of the day I'm going to have to tow one raptor with another. So I need to mod accordingly

I occasionally tow more than the specs allow for. But instead of doing a lot of suspension mods that are only used once in a while, I bought a trailer that was a little longer in the back half, so that I can place my towed equipment a bit farther back over the axles of the trailer, eliminating some of the actual load placed on the truck. Sure, I lose a little of the 'comfort' associated with having more weight on the truck, but with help from someone on the ground, I can perfectly place the right amount of weight on the truck's rear half to keep it up off the bump stops. I never liked having the front end of the truck up too high, anyway, especially with these trucks. I just can't drive as fast as usual due to the trailer getting a little squirrely under heavy breaking and going down hill.....

How is the ride with the hd and drop shackles with a light load in the bed. I plan to have about 250 in the rear inlcluding my spare, hope I don't lose anything going with a drop shackle

Survey says you need about 500lbs in the back to get into the sweet spot.

I only have a Tire Gate with a 37" tire with the HD's. I have 0 problems with the ride and don't mind it at all.

That being said when I had the WSI 4k rack it was a better ride.

I just installed the WSI HDs, agree with everyone, the truck rides so much better. Only issue is vibration. Once I replaced my worn BFG's, the vibration got much better, but there's still some vibration from 0-10mph.
