Interesting that "estimated retail value" for a salvaged truck with 13k miles is basically the new price. A bit optimistic.

Yeah! That estimation was from the insurance assigned adjuster and the shop that I use came within a couple thousand....so that helped push the decision to total.

Enough for both estimates to call for a new frame...so a No Go on frame

Its a shame for the truck but they "used" to and will make more everyday. You and your friends, their is only one! As you stated a truck can be replaced you guys cant!
