Wounder if we could make the Raptor sound more like GT40

Mid-engine, short exhaust will make it sound a little different. The videos I've seen it still sounds like a Raptor, even inside the car.
I am okay with the sound of the Raptor. I cut off the tips and welded on some muffler tips to knock some of the rasp off. Sometimes I wish it was louder/aggressive, but most of the time I am just fine. Road trips are sublime, you can't even hear the exhaust on the highway, cruising. I know if I ended up putting an aftermarket exhaust on, I would get real tired of it.

That's kind of want I was thinking cutting the muffler out replace with crosse over pipe or just straight pipes move two smaller mufflers close to tailpipes

Getting the kick ass sound of the GT350 or GT40 start with a flat plane crank as opposed to a cross. My 19 GT350 makes my 17 Raptor sounds dull..... but would never give up my Raptor...

I agree! When I want to drive an awesome sounding car, I take my GT350 for a spin. When I want to drive an awesome truck, I take my Raptor for a spin. I am totally fine with both of them.

eh, its not a supercar, and its not a v8

In my opinion, the key is to make the turbos louder, not the exhaust. Intake, atmospheric BOV, downpipes, etc.

None, the GTs heads are different, different cams, and MUCH shorter exhaust.

Compare a stock SBC to a SBC with heads and cam and tell me the sound difference.

Well guess that's not an option. It seams like the exhaust mfgs are trying to make sound like a V8 instead of just trying to make it sound better.

You can only make it louder or different...not objectively better.
