2018 13k other than regular maintenance I have replaced 1 IWE check valve. Rather than screw around with a dealer I spent $7 and 45 seconds of my time to replace it myself.

2013 55k miles only had sunroof issue.
2019 only 3k miles no problems.

I have a few customers with Raptors and have only needed regular maintenance needed.

Its the same for business reviews. People tend to leave negative reviews more often then positive. People talk more about bad reviews vs good ones, etc.

yawn....buy the dam truck. Every car / truck has out liers with quality issues.

Forums tend to magnify those issues. People join forums because they are enthusiast or they have problems. The vast majority are just general users who have been happily driving along all this time.

Also there seems to be a lot of people who don’t actually own a Raptor but will consistently talk trash about them. Don’t know why but it happens.

If you want to know about how reliable a vehicle is, automotive internet forums are the WRONG place to go looking.

Im planning on getting my first truck and the 19' raptor is my first choice. That said, some of the reliability issues that ive read about are concerning. How many on the forums have a 2018 or 2019 with either no issues other than maintenance or next to no issues? Im hoping there are quite a lot of people and this thread convinces me to buy one.

This is a tough question because of course the newer the model year, the likelihood it has less miles. As miles build on these, you will have more with experience. From the different cam phaser failure threads, it looks like it does affect 17-present. There is not one year less affected than another.

I've had my '18 for 6 months and have put over 15k miles on it due to my line of work. No issues whatsoever, unless, you count the squeaky sunroof which can be easily remedied.

I absolutely love my Rap!

Owned a 17, 18 both with 30k plus miles each, no issues. Have a 2019 now with 16k and no issues. Get one.

Late '18 w/ 21k miles, ~ 200 mi off road, don't have the blue IWE check valve. No issues besides squeaky sunroof, and leafsprings I'm guessing...truck sounds like a 90 yo man
