I returned the Amazon tray
Never tried it...
My phones fit in the cup holder....with charging wires running from the console.
The console TRAY would defeat the purpose for my needs

The leatherseats.com console wireless charger is a good setup unfortunately no update if they will produce for Gen1

The pictures show the inner console TRAY is the same as Gen1

Amazon has updated their info on this to include 2010 thru 2021! Better option then tying up a cupholder.
