Has anyone used this? https://carplay2air.com

Reviews look solid (other than mentioning a several second delay connecting after turning the car on). I'm used to wireless CarPlay in my other cars and this seems like a good workaround.

Curious if anyone has experience with it.

TIA

I am curious as well, the few second delay wouldn't be a problem as that's what it takes it plug the phone in anyways.

You get better sound by plugging it in, fwiw. Plus it charges it. A buddy has one in his BMW and after a few months he ended up back with the old cord.

I have been using it for about a year. Really it works pretty good. A little longer than a few seconds before the connection is made, maybe about 15 seconds as an average. Once in a great while it will not connect and you have to unplug the Car2Play and plug it back in. I really have not heard a big difference in sound quality and I have upgraded my sound system from the B&O amp. Maybe because I listen to online content. The biggest complaint most have is there is a delay for any commands and you have to expect it. Like when you say 'Hey Siri' it takes a few seconds. If you hit the pause it will take about 2 seconds to respond. I would purchase again.

Cool concept, but audio over a wireless connection sounds like crap. I'll keep my cable until technology catches up.

I’ve had it for a couple months. It works way better than I thought it would. Takes 10-15 seconds to connect but it always auto connects, no drops, excellent sound, no issues with apps. I have a wireless charger that I rest my phone in so it’s very convenient to take the phone in and out. You could leave it in your pocket too without issues. I have the carplay2air adapter plugged into the second slot and 3m taped to the inside of the cubby. You can’t see it or know it’s there. I highly recommend it, one of the best purchases I’ve made for the truck.

I've had the wireless CarPlay unit for about 4 months. Works fine. Perfect, nope but I can live with the couple times it doesn't connected. I installed a power switch to easily disconnect it to reboot it, don't have to unplug the usb. I have a wireless charger mounted to the dash and love the fact that I just put my phone on the charger and off I go then when getting out of the truck I just gab the phone, No cords to hook up or disconnect. That right there makes the connection delay and the couple times it doesn't connect small potatoes. I'd buy again and I ordered one for my motorcycle because of the convenience.

I use it. It works great. No complaints at all. Bought it on Amazon.

I have it and like it too, instead of unplugging unit when the rare occasion it doesn’t connect, I go through the phones settings and manually connect it to the WiFi and Bluetooth of the adaptor. No Audio issues on my end

I have the Carlink 2.0. Bought it on Amazon for raptor and a rubicon. Works very well. I’m impressed with it
