I wrote above that I have the SCT and MPT tune. My SCT tune is on the BDX and I see you are offering your tune on the sct4. What is the difference, besides one is newer?

The 2 devices are essentially the same other than shape and styling.
The BDX does have the ability to connect via wifi to a cloud server to download tunes from, but it is only for software updates and SCT preload tunes for now, no custom tuning support.
The BDX can from time to time require an update via wifi, where as the X4 out of the box is simple and ready to go.
For us as a shop selling a device with a tune preloaded, the X4 makes more sense as updates are not required once our tune is loaded. We do not need the WiFi connectivity of the BDX.

We can however email tune for any SCT device, as long as the vehicle is supported. We've written tunes for Livewire TS+'s and X2's this month.

Hope this helps!

I forgot that the sct4 doesn’t have wifi like the BDX. I had the sct4 for my mustang. It was tuned on a dyno though so I never touched it again after the shop tuned my car, it just sat in the trunk.
Will be connecting the BDX and checking for updates this week. Going to load the SCT tune back to the Raptor for the road trip. It gets 1-2 mpg better than the MPT tune and is just smoother in traffic with the SCT tune.

1-2 mpg is big on a road trip!

My leadfoot grey 2018 Raptor was modded and custom tuned by JDM. I've had it done since February now and cant say enough how amazing it is. Like a whole new animal. The video they have up is in my Raptor. I have what is now basically their stage 1 kit with blow off valve. Love how the trans now hits nice and hard in every gear and it chirps the tires in 2nd and 3rd. Top end pull is insane for a huge sized truck like this!! I have surprised many low 13 second 1/4 mile performance cars. Always fun to see their reactions
The daily driving is improved big time. Just leave it in drive all the time. Doesnt search all over for the right gear. Can accelerate more in a gear without having to downshift. Gas mileage has gone up when I take it easy ..but I mainly get on it too much to care...
My son has taken the Raptor offroading and says the new found power is welcome in certain situations. I will be going in for more mods as soon as Jim can get me in again. So in short..I highly recommend JDM for all your custom mods and tuning on your new Raptor's. Fun Factor Is Off The Scale!!

Just a little update, We have a truck with a cold air kit, blow off valve, and an intercooler on the dyno.
Stay tuned, as videos and dyno graphs will be posted as soon as they roll in!
