Windshield washer not spraying

A little stumped here. A couple weeks ago, my windshield washers stopped spraying. I could hear motor working. Intermittently, it would “ooze” or weakly dribble.

I continued to switch the washers on/off several times and it started to spray again.

It worked until today when it stopped working again. Same symptoms - motor runs - except nothing sprays.

I disconnected the tube between the reservoir and the nozzles and put an air compressor on the end, air came out the nozzles no problem. I cycled the washers once more and nothing comes out of the tube coming from reservoir. Then noticed the front camera washer does not spray either

No leaks either.

Anyone experience this before? And yes there is fluid in the reservoir

Sounds like the pump has bit the dust, you can get a new washer fluid pump for under $20.00 on Rockauto's website.

Thank you - Just grabbed one from dealer for 25 bucks - will report back!

Its stupid easy to replace, just drain the tank first.

filter appeared to be clogged with a weird waxy substance. Maybe a very old piece of paper or something. Anyway, changed the pump and filter. Now it sprays like a fire hose lol

Was stupid easy indeed. So glad I didn’t pay someone to do that. Thanks everyone!

Hi im kinda in the same boat an wondering if anybody could help me. When trying to us the windshield wipers and fluid nothing comes out and no motor noise but when i use the front camera it works motor sound strong too.. i checked fuses and cleaned the line but its weird that my front windshield wipers work and move but no fluid and my front camera sprayer works too.. if anybody has an idea let me know

They are the same pump. It is an easy access behind the passenger head light. What I mean is.....It is one pump with 2 outputs. I never looked to see how it knows what output to use. My fluid was froze... so it was cold cold cold!!!! I just wanted to get it thawed and back working.so I didn't do a lot of investigating.
