I found that this feature is ineffective at keeping ice from accumulating on the wipers when driving in bad weather. Still have to pull over and break the built up ice off the blades. Perhaps it’s good for unfreezing blades stuck to windshield overnight? But I just raise the blades. Is this feature suppose to stop ice buildup on the blades themselves?

Yea they suck, I adjusted my wipers to lay better on the elements and they still dont completely de-ice in real bad conditions on a long trip. I just make sure to keep the defroster on and smack any accumulated ice off whenever I stop.

Thanks. I need to adjust my blades down. Perhaps it will be a bit more effective if they are right on the elements. But based on your experiences, probably not.

My buddy's 2020 has this, and when we drove home in a snowstorm last Friday after skiing we found it didn't do squat while driving. It may help if the truck was parked in a storm, but with the wipers moving it didn't help. In a good storm, best thing to do is blast the defrost at max temp and crack the back windows/sunroof so you don't cook in the truck. CO Native pro tip

Be aware that the silver blocks need to be removed from the wiper motor shaft so you can change the clock position of the wiper arms. They most likely will fall off when you pull the wiper arms.
