Mt Evans Road. I have a ton of them in my gallery. I actually blew my MAS going to 14100 feet...well, that's all I have that I can blame on the failure.

We should hit some trails sometime. Slaughterhouse and Bill Moore lake are fun and less than 30 mins from Denver.

Hit me up!!!

Sure thing. I used to hit Slaughterhouse all the time in my little 4x4. I suppose I need to wait until I actually HAVE my Raptor now though.

I have 20% on all my windows (read: on top of rear factory windows) and 5% strip on top of the windshield. I wish my front windows were darker, but then I'd have to find a new place to inspect it. I think I might drop to 5-10% when I get back to Houston and don't have College Station PD writing kids tickets for absolutely anything.

Texas allows 25% VLT (visible light transmisstion) on side windows. Non-reflective tent is allows above the AS-1 line on the windshield and the back window can be blacked out if you choose. Since 2003, anyone who applies tent, is supposed to put a decal on the driver's side window between the tint film and glass, that indicates >25% VLT and identifies the installer.

Usually HPD and most other Houston area agencies don't care and don't even know the law themselves. Every now and then however, someone flunks the attitude test and an officer will go over the vehicle looking for offenses. I saw one kid in traffic court on Lubbock street a few months back who managed to rack up at least seven citations in one traffic stop.

Cop popped him for speeding (85 in a 55) and then went on to write him up for window tint, non-DOT approved headlights, non-DOT approved signal lights, non-DOT approved taillights, failure to maintain proper height of the headlights above the ground, failure to maintain emissions equipment, failure to maintain safety equipment and the list went on. Kid ended up with convictions on all counts mainly because he wouldn't shut up. He "knew" the law just well enough to **** off the judge and had made the mistake of asking for a trial by judge rather than by jury.

The number of kids I know that mouth off to cops never ceases to amaze me. I've been pulled over 3 times and ticketed 3 times. Was I speeding? Yes. Was I respectful? Yes. But when you drive a truck like mine it just screams "****** Bag" who can afford the ticket. It seems no matter how polite and respectful I am to the cop, I'm getting a ticket regardless. The thing is, I keep my mouth shut, and take it to court. Three citations issued and I still have a crystal clear driving record.

But yeah, like you said, in Houston I really won't have to worry about my windows. If anything I'll get pulled over for speeding and then written a tint ticket on top of it. They just don't have enough "real" crime in College Station so the CSPD has a squad of about 10 motorcycle cops with laser guns on a mission to make some money for the city so they can make their overpasses prettier...no joke hahaha.

So to summarize, the rear windows AND sliding glass are both 20% from the factory?

Trying to setup an appointment to get the fronts done...
