Is there any way to tell if the truck is actually in stock?

I'm tired of reaching out to these dealers to see if they really have the vehicle.

Thanks!

Unless you see actual pictures of the vehicle "on the ground" on a webpage, I would not trust any other source. Even then, you may call a dealer and they will say it is sold.

I would agree with this. There are a bunch of 2017 Raptors for sale on eBay. You can tell that some are on the ground at the dealer with actual photos and others are posted from Ford Website or other advertising.

The dealership where I have my 10/31 build ordered from finally got in their first allocation, that was ordered for a customer who ordered after me. I went to their inventory page to see what options it had, and it showed an Ingot Silver Screw. However, when I called my salesman back, he said they did not have a silver one on the lot, that they only had a black one, and it was for a customer. Point being, just because a window sticker and pictures show up on a dealers's inventory on their website, it doesn't guarantee that the Raptor is actually there. Call to make sure. In this case, not only was the picture and window sticker for a vehicle they didn't even have, but the one they did have is ordered for a specific customer, not for sale to the public. Again, call to make sure.

Yeah thanks looking like I'm sol on the window sticker idea..lol I have called a lot of the dealers already so trying to avoid them calling me back everyday to offer me an F150 I do not want or expressed any interest in. A lot of cheese balls out there that have a hard time listening to customers. All they want to do is push vehicles I do not want.

As my truck sat for ever at ramp 59, I called around. One dealer in Hosuton told me they have one that is on route. I called 800-FORD-SVT and gave them the VIN and was told it too is at ramp 59!!!! If you have the VIN, they are likely to know roughly the vehicle is, including if it was delivered to the dealer or not, I think. Worth a phone call.
