Getting a new 2019 802a SCREW. I have a RCI bedrack for my Tacoma that can easily be modified to fit this new truck. Would the weight of the rack in the back help any of the rear end issues off-road? I want to wait before making any modifications. Not looking for huge improvement, just curious if better than a kick in the teeth.

I have a full 175# cap on the bed of my truck, rear end still hops.
Will likely put Deavers on next year.

Same experience here. Rack and roof top tent total 200lb rear still jumps around on loose roads at higher speeds. Adding weight won’t help in my opinion. Think it’s a combination of the stock leafs and stock shocks. Will upgrade to deavers like the gentleman above me mentioned. Then may upgrade shocks.
