Read this thread yesterday passed a fellow gen 2 raptor on my way to work this morning. I waved and got a very blank confused stare back. I am going to try two more times. If results are all similar I will hold off on the friendly banter for now. I will keep you posted.

I get a lot of confusion when I flash my light bars, but this one 50 or 60 year old woman got the idea and flipped on her light bars and started waiving like mad lol. It's the ones that waive back that really make it count.

So I notice this ever since I got my Rap in 2013.. Rap Owners don't like other Rap Owners?...lol

Every Rap Owner give that look like " F U..My Rap is better then Urs" LOL

or has the " I'm FKing Bada$$ Mofok8r" Look on the Face..

What's Up?
curious why you want to wave at people you dont know just cuz they have the same truck as you? serious question. I only read the first page if this was gone over sorry.

weird thing I am replying to you on an internet form but I wouldn't wave to you if we were passing by on the street. hum maybe I am the weird one but it seems weird to wave at some one over the same truck. I would also talk to you at a gas station if you said something to me but still wouldn't wave. no idea why I wouldn't its just weird I guess. but anyways I am curious why you do or want to?

Round here we all :flipthebird: each other off so I'm not sure why we'd expect anything different in "the real world" :ROFLJest:

LMAO this is actually true . I see some F-ed up replies id def fight over in real life on this board. if you dont have 17" method wheels and what ever the cool tire is today you will get a bunch of crazy talk to you.

It's a community thing. I don't really know what else to say besides it's how I met all of my buddies around me that drive raptors. I've done it in every car I've owned, maybe it's bigger in the south. Always people waiving back and forth here.

It's because we are all just ******* ass holes! Except me, I fart glitter and ride on unicorns.

I think it's indeed probably more prominent in the south. I usually wave and get waves back to other raptors around here. I sometimes flash the LED's if on the highway and others will flash back. I'm just awaiting all of the girls to hang out and flash me.

It's because you are doing it wrong! I have a 2011 and always get a wave back. The wave has to parts...the first is a slight raise of your head (nonchalant) and the second is the raising of your index finger from your grip of the steering wheel. Works every time... lol
