What bulbs did you use - whose products do you recommend?

I have the DDM tuning kit. I have had it for a year now without any issues. Good quality and can't beat the price. My 6000s when warm look ultra white. Just a 1% touch of blue. I hate the blue look too but have no issue with these

whtrapta, do you have the slim ballasts or the Raptor ballasts? If slim, how'd you mount them? I know they don't give you mounting brackets for that specific kit...

Not. Nearly as nice as projectors, or quite as much light where you want it.

Dude! Bi-xenon, as in 2. He said there is a shield that moves out of the way of the high beam projector part so there is no warm up time to Hi-beam.

?
On mine, the bulb actually moves in and out. Out for normal, in for high beams. It slides I don't know how else to explain it. But there is no warm up time since its using one bulb. The high beams reach really far too. On a flat road probably a good 500' of good light easy

Yeah a...

- bi-xenon projector has a solenoid connected to the projector that moves a cutoff shield out of the way for brights.

- A bi-xenon bulb has the solenoid built into the bulb and slightly shifts the position of the bulb causing the angle it reflects outward to change.

Both systems do not change the "brightness" of the bulb. They are both on at full strength all the time.

I also have the DDM TUNING raptor hi low kit 55w and 6000k. I love the lights 6000k is white with just a hint of blue in it. My only problem I have had is my headlights won't turn off when I turn the truck off but I called DDM and they said I need a new control box and they are sending me another one no questions asked.

4300K is closest to natural light and gives the most visible light output. 4300K is the same as all OEM HID lights. Anything higher or lower reduces light output, though whether or not by a noticeable amount I don't know.
