UPDATE!

POS only made 312 to the wheels

Also need to make an appointment for the dealer to see what is making a grinding/rumbling noise. Sounds just like when my rear end was toast in my last f150 at 58k miles, except this one is at 31k miles.

Hooray!

Sorry you are having all these issues.

I don't want to jinx myself, but my truck may have been built on the right day of the week when the workers were alert. I have almost 40k miles on the clock and not a single issue. Not even a damn squeak or rattle. I have kept up with these common problems threads and checked my truck for them, but nada. And I wheeled the thing too all of last year including snow wheeling and rock crawling, and almost 15k of the 40k miles are towing miles. I have not gone back to dealer a single time since taking delivery, with home oil changes every 5k and a new set of tires at 34k being the only care I have given it.

Now that I have said this, the thing will most likely start to fall apart on me.....

I have had the issues with pillars.. Washed it super carefully knowing how prone to swirl marks they are and still came out scratched.. I ended up hitting them with a 2 step and coated them so far they have been fine.

I imagine if they scratch up again I'll just have them wrapped.

Sorry to hear about all the issues you have had.

Don't you have multiple mods such as a tune and downpipes etc.? How are you so down on power?

I don't think it is down on power at all, just a bad read on the dyno, or operator error, or whatever. (also, I don't have downpipes)

Its an odd dyno. A v8 Silverado there with im assuming a faily big turbo by the way it sounded only did 370 hp and 450 ish ft/lbs.

theres nothing wrong with the truck. People are ignoring the fact that it did 520 ft/lbs to the wheels at 2500 rpm....

When I got back in it, all the traction/abs/hill descent lights were on, it didn't like the dyno situation at all, and could have been pulling power up top, maybe the torque converter wasn't locking up, etc, I really have no clue.

Maybe someday Ill make another trip and have them run it with dyno plots and an 02 sniffer.

Same thing on my old 15' Lariat. That piano black material is crap no matter what manufacturer uses it.
