Warranty work not paying as much for the mechanics has been that way for years.

I only count on the warranty for something big. Anything else I fix myself. Faster, easier and it's done right. If the engine throws a rod- it's going in. If the purge valve is sticking, I'm buying the $27 part and putting it in myself.

Guess I'm going to continue turning my own wrenches.

If it weren't for the warranty, I would have put a metal oil pan in months ago....

I also would have fixed the IWE vac line before the IWE's were ground down into little nubs, instead of waiting months for a "nationally backordered part"

Everyone thinks my company only makes stuff for Toyota's (not true). To combat that, my thought was to purchase a Raptor and bombard our social media accounts and our website with pictures of the new truck sporting our products.

I mean, what better way is there to tap into the F-150 market??

So over the last week or so, I've been doing a ton of research on Raptors, and to be honest, this thread is making me worry.

Our shop Tundra has 24K miles on it, and it has been absolute perfection, I would love to have the same situation with a $75,000 Raptor, but according to this thread, I'd be throwing my money away.

Somebody please put my mind at ease.

Pay little or no attention to what you have read here. The people here dumping on the Raptor are a very slim minority of Raptor owners. There of plenty of us that have had zero issues. The Raptor is built on a reliable platform and the highest selling volume truck in the US (F-150). The F-150 market is a very big market, I would be interested in seeing what you guys have to offer.

22k problem free miles and that includes many hundreds offroad in the Rockies and around Moab.

As for Raptor vs Tundra, they are not even in the same league. A rough ride in my buddies TRD Pro was barely a thing in the Raptor.

^ I agree the Raptor is a fun bad ass off road machine.... just sucks when things start rattling around but I am guessing when I beat it up in the desert a lot of those sounds get worse from all the off roading.

I still love my Raptor just wish it was as good as it was when new.

Interior rattles are one thing I absolutely can't tolerate. Exterior rattles are ok, I can always close the windows. Which one does the Raptor suffer from.
