Why are we unable to get inside Raptor at auto shows?

Anyone know why they are not allowing the public to get inside the raptors at auto shows? Are they trying to re-sell them. Funny that the most expensive of the ford F-150 trims are open to public but not raptor.

My guess would be that they're prototypes where they were testing different internal configurations that didn't end up actually shipping so they don't want people to experience them and set expectations incorrectly

I heard that the cheby seats are NOT aligning with the factory holes of the Raptor's body, thus this delay that could drag on for ever (all said with an inflection..):baby:

Vladi,
Having visited the North American International Auto Show in Detroit twice I can give you one answer....
They want the trucks intact.
Every car I saw that the public was allowed to sit in had broken knobs, missing buttons, missing shift knobs, visor damage, rear view mirrors broken, slashes in the upholstery, switches broken, etc. In short the public seeks souvenirs, and destroys the interiors where they feel they can't be seen...

Odd, at TRR last May, they let us sit in the driver and passenger seat, pop the hood and had no issues what we looked at or touched. I was impressed how comfortable the seats were, almost like memory foam.

My guess is there wasn't a lot of guys at TRR that were gonna tear off a knob or try rip something else out of the truck.....
