VINs are only issued 7 days in advance, who has one for a blend date beyond 7/18.

2015 production starts on 10/20 and Ford has said they will idle the plant for 11 weeks to make the conversion.

I got my VIN on July 1st and my build date isn't until mid August so I'm not sure what you mean by 7 days in advance.

That means I'm either getting one of the last Silver SCREW's made in 2014, or I wont be getting anything. The salesman told me my build week is the first week of August with an approximate delivery date of 29SEP. Hope he knows what he's talking about.

The consensus was always, if you got a VIN and build week/day... that you were guaranteed a truck. Prior to that... no guarantee. Maybe he means if you don't get your VIN by the end of July... no truck. Who knows. Cause no one has come forward with any real info on when the trucks will stop being produced.

Back in February when I was ordering people were saying we may not get our trucks... now look... it's July and people are still getting trucks.

I am by no means the expert, but I would guess if you order from a dealer with allocation, and the dealer actually USES HIS ALLOCATION FOR YOUR ORDER, you will still get a truck. Factory orders are long since SOL. I ordered on 3-26. I asked dealer if he had allocation. The dealer said yes he had allocation. What he did not tell me was that he placed my order as a factory order hoping it would be filled. My dealer did not use any of his allocation of Raptors for my order. As I posted above, 357 factory orders will go unfilled for 2014 Raptors. That email was from a Ford Zone Manager. That deal was for invoice + 500. Of course he had one on the lot he would sell me for MSRP + $2000. Sneaky, dirty, underhanded on the dealers part, and not very appealing way of doing business on the The Motor Company's part. Not sure I am even interested in Ford products anymore at this point. I Will also be selling my Ford Motor CO stock.

My Dealer was Horizon Ford in Seattle.
