They have allocation, or so they have said. I have no reason to doubt them. In fact he has a Blue Screw just became available due to a cancellation. Also, if Crystal has the order "in process" wouldn't that mean it was in the system and allocated?? Maybe not. Too many games here to know anything for sure.

I have contacted the dealer to confirm as you suggest. Waiting to here from the Sales Mgr.

I believe an order can be "accepted" by Ford and still not built. With the '13 Shelby's they offered to roll them to the '14 model year.

Someone else may be able to confirm if having a DORA is a guarantee of allocation. I got my DORA the next day, others have waited a week+.

I got strung out 4 and a half months before they pulled my order and still have no truck they say its on train but will believe it when it happens?

"Be advised that there are 357 retail Raptors that will not be built due to model year balance out.

If you ask your dealer for the vehicle visibility report, it will show the car number. You can check the railroad system for the exact location. Once it's at the final destination it will be trucked to the dealer within 4-5 days.

August 4th is supposedly the delivery day. Got my VIN a couple days ago.

dude that really blows, sorry to hear that. i ordered mine may 6th and it's in PA now waiting for delivery. my buddy is a sales manager over at a ford dealership in nnj (not the one i bought from...apparently friends still pay a markup at his place) and he was telling me that if it's stuck in chicago, it's going to be a long haul...last he heard was something like 40k vehicles sitting waiting for delivery. one of his customers ordered a 6.2 fx4 back in january and just took delivery a week or so ago. hopefully yours makes it in sooner...sucks how things work.

My Raptor time in transit was 22 days from Dearborn to Medford OR.

Hmm how can that be true if they are issuing VIN's for later build dates? I guess if mine does get cancelled then I get to keep my Z06 so all is not lost.
